Hemlock Printers is a family-owned, Burnaby-based company with a long history of supporting local causes through employee-led programs.
This year, a group of Hemlock employees will be participating in Plenty of Plates, a volunteer opportunity presented by A Better Life Foundation that aims to nourish Downtown Eastside residents by providing equitable access to restaurant-quality meals.
Our team will work hands-on in food preparation and meal service, allowing us to see our contributions first-hand while connecting with the broader community. As part of the program, our group is fundraising $5,000, which will go towards program costs for the day, plus 640+ additional meals throughout the year.
